Florence Myrtle Kern was born July 25th, 1895 at Cadams, Neb., and died at the home of her parents, northeast of Wolbach, Sunday, November 10, 1918, at the age of 23 years, 3 months and 17 days.
Her girlhood days were spent at Logan, Nebr., where her parents resided before coming to Wolbach.
She was married to Harry B. Dopf, at Logan, Nebr., June 11, 1915, and since her marriage has made Wolbach her home. During her residence here she made many friends. Her cheerful and sunny disposition endeared her to all who knew her and made her a favorite with many.
She leaves to mourn the loss, her husband, two children, Robert, age two years, Mary Louise, three months old, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kern. Besides these she leaves four sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Harold Van Buskirk, Merna, Nebr., Mrs. Chester Blakesly, Purdum, Nebr., Misses Ada and Helen Kern of Wolbach, Clarence Kern of South Dakota, and George Kern of Superior, Nebr.
Influenza being the cause of her death, no funeral servcie was held. The remains were laid to rest in Hillside cemetery.
