On the other hand there is a marriage between Bartholomew Maw and Mary Wilson on 29 Nov 1802 in Slingsby, Yorkshire, England. Again, this only a few miles away from both Marton cum Moxby where William is born and also a few miles from Sherriff Hutton where he marries. Another clue is that one of Williams sons is called Wilson Maw ...
