- On January 29, 2018, passed away with dignity at Nurse Maude Hospice, aged 71 years. Dearly loved husband of Pauline, much loved father and father-in-law of Paul, Julie and Pete, Nigel and Nikki, and Matthew, special grandad of William, Genevieve, and Alex; Ben, Lachie, Gisele, and Ysabel. Special thanks to the staff at Christchurch Hospital, Oncology Ward, for their care of Mark. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Mark Harkerss c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. Donations to St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be made at the service. The Service to celebrate Mark's life will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Monday, February 5, at 10.00am.
