FUNERAL TO BE HELD THURSDAY BODY OF DAVID OBORN, 40 WILL BE BROUGHT FROM CALIFORNIA
David Oborn, 40, former Odgen Resident, died Thrusday night at his home in Los Angeles following a long illness of heart trouble.
The body will arrive in Ogden in Union Pacific train No.22, Monday evening at eleven twenty-five O'clock and will be taken to the Mount Odgen Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at one o'clock in the LDS fourteenth ward chapel with Bishop Thomas Parker officiating. Friends may call at the home of Mrs. Neil Clegg 3767 Adams Avenue. Tuesday form ten until twevle-thirty o'clock. Interment will be in Mount Ogden memorial park.'
Mr. Oborn was born in Ogden, June 17 1894 a son of Joseph J. and Isabella Stevens Oborn. He was employed by the Union Pacific railroad. He moved to Los Angeles a number of years ago on account of poor health. He was married in Ogen to Miss Virginia Lampert in 1921.
He is survived by his widow and two daughters, Kathryn and Margery Oborn, of Los Angeles, his mother a grandmother, Mrs. Mary Oborn, both of Ogedn; three sisters, and one brother Miss Isabelle Oborn, Mrs. Neil Clegg and Mrs. Edan Malan, of Ogden, Alfred Heber Oborn of Sparks Nevada.
