      - age 85 years
      - came west in 1903 with his wife and homesteaded in the Twin Butte district
      - survived by his son, Lloyd of Twin Butte and daughters Mrs S.R. Smith of Pincher Creek, Mrs F Campbell of Twin Butte and Mrs B Longstaff of Powell River.

      He was predeceased by his wife and two sons.
