Born in Anderson, on January 16, 1949, he was the son of Ouida Maw Blackburn and the late Enoch C. Blackburn. He was a graduate of D.W. Daniel High School and the Kentucky School of Mortuary Science in Louisville, KY. Harry was a Funeral Director & Embalmer at The McDougald Funeral Home in Anderson and had formerly been employed by the J.F. Floyd Mortuary in Spartanburg. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Central. Harry was also a faithful member of the Electric City Shag Club. Mr. Blackburn is survived by his mother, Ouida M. Blackburn of Central; his two sons, Jason Richard Blackburn of the Whitten Center in Clinton and David Zachary Blackburn of Six Mile; and his sister, Carole Blackburn Sipes of Central.
