Pinder, 28, a bridegroom of seven weeks, was instantly killed when he picked up a live wire at the William Sutter home two miles west of Effingham. Associated with his father, Robert Pinder, in the lumber business, he was doing remodeling work at the farm where the tragedy occured. His wife was the former Marie Armstrong. Atchison Globe September, 1934 LESLIE B. PINDER KILLED IN CONSTRUCTION ACCIDENT. He was assisting in the construction of an addition to the Sutter home when for some reason he took hold of a ground wire and he was electrocuted. He was born May 23, 1906 at Havensville, Kansas. He had just recently married Miss Marie Armstrong. He is survived by his widow, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rob't Pinder, and two brothers, John and Cecil and a sister, Ruth Lapham.
