He was survived by his wife; a daughter, Myrtle Maw of Central; four sons, Merrell Norris and Furman Norris of Central, Henry Norris of Clinton and Charles Norris of Pendleton; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Della Rice of Odessa, FL, and Mrs. Sadie Landers of Simpsonville; and two brothers, Robert Lee Norris of Tampa, FL, and Charlie Norris of Easley. Funeral services: Thursday, February 8, 1968, Second Wesleyan Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Paul Wilcox and Rev. James H. Whitman. Burial: Memory Gardens Cemetery.
