Cyril (her brother) says that they were born and brought up in 9 Nelson St, Southampton.
Geoff told Roger that both Kathleen and Cyril died from muscular dystrophy. As Roger was worried about this, we sent for her death certificate. The causes of death were;
Ia Bronchopenumonia
Ib Cerebro vascular accident (ie: stroke)
II Spino-muscular atrophy.
So it wasn't muscular dystrophy although it is obvious why Geoff thought it was. She was always very thin, like her mother. Both of them had extremely thin legs, with little muscle on them, which got even thinner. Kathleen never walked anywhere or did any sort of exercise in her last few years. [2]
