I have a death and burial for Thomas Marsden, b. Q4 1857 found in the burials at All Saint's Church, Ecclesall, Sheffield

So I'm sorry but your marriage to Mary Jane Stork looks wrong. I had a quick look on Ancestry and the Thomas who married Mary J and had a child Thomas in 1880 is a joiner.
I have a couple of extra children, but unfortunately they died young as well, so the only child of Milcah Maw and Jonathan Marsden to have a family was Henry James, my children's 3x great grandfather. He seemed similarly unlucky and only one of his children appears to have had a family.
I attach a descendant report from Jonathan Marsden for the now deceased generations of my ex-husband's family. I hope this will be of interest to you.
