The family was living at No. 43 Plane Street in Hull. 2. Walter Sr. is shown as "Retired". Why? He was 41, with a 4-month old daughter, Doreen Evelyn. Either he was injured and could no longer work, or he had sold his business, or had sold a property (possibly that of the business on Anlaby Road) so he had $... 3. Walter Jr. is not listed. Had he died? He must have been too young to have moved out... 4. Ed was 15, and already working as a clerk at a merchant's. (I believe it was a Wine and Spirit Merchant, 5. Edith F. was 18, and working as a "School Board Teacher". 2. According to the 1894 Kelly's Trade Directory, Walter Grasby, "Master Plumber", operated out of "Anlaby Road Newington" - probably near the corner, a short walk from home.
