  	Geraldine was born in a farmhouse in Spencer, Oklahoma. She had two sisters, Bonnie and Virginia and a brother, Bob. She was married at the tender age of 16 years old to a 22 year old sailor, Frederick James Maw II. Over the years they persevered many hardships of that time. They managed to move to Los Angeles where they were long term residents in the San Fernando Valley. They began to raise a family of five children; Frederick James III, Vicki Sue, Danny Alan, Roger Robin and Tamara Kay. They in turn, gave them a total of 19 grand children and 28 great grand children. They moved to a lakefront home at Lake Hughes, CA in 1971. Her husband Fred passed away in 2006. She has lived in the lakes area ever since. She passed away peacefully at home Monday morning, March 18th due to a long term illness. She was a woman of great character, wisdom, unconditional love and her steadfast love for God. A special acknowledgment to her niece, Joanne and her husband Paul Deaville as Paul was also her pastor in the Lord. She will greatly be missed by all who had the pleasure and privilege of knowing her. Her quote for all of us; "Whatever you do in life, just don't miss Heaven".
