It is with great sadness that the friends and family of Marion Agnes Richardson announce her peaceful passing on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at the Etobicoke General Hospital, in her 83rd year.
Born near Minesing, Ontario to William and Agnes Maw on August 19, 1927, Molly was the first of 2 children, dear sister to the late Robert Maw. Her early years were spent working at Bell Canada and later Shell Canada, from which she retired. With a friendly demeanour and kind, caring heart, Molly was well liked by those she came in contact with. Her life was centred around her family and numerous friendships she developed over the years. Many families considered Molly as an extended part of their family with regular invitations for her participation in family celebrations and life events.
As a retiree of Shell Canada, Molly enjoyed meeting regularly, for well over 25 years, with fellow retirees to share stories and socialize. She developed a love for travel, cooking, gardening and music, and spent much of her time engaged in these passions. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched, including her dear cousin Ruth Rawn, close friend Adeline Jamieson, the Rawn, Graham, Burtcher and Brown families.
Cremation with interment at Minesing Cemetery in spring 2010.
