[1] - On December 11, 2017, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, aged 97 years. Eldest son of the late Mark and Elizabeth (Ciss), much loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Joan and Les Ludemann, Dorothy (deceased) and Lloyd Harkerss, Mervyn (deceased) and Rosaleen, the late Keith and Molly, Charles and Joyce, the late Alice and Bill Clark, and much loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Westmar Senior Care, Darfield, for their care of Stan over the last 2 years. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ellesmere St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be made at the service. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Stanley Maw, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A Graveside Service for Stan will be held at the Ellesmere Public Cemetery, Feredays Road, Leeston, on Monday, December 18, at 2.00pm. If raining, the Service will be held in the Southbridge Town Hall, High Street, Southbridge, at 2.00pm.
