She was born May 22, 1928 to Janie Louise and Duard Allen in Corinne, Utah. After her father's death, she was lovingly raised by her mother and step-father, Willard Jensen. She attended Box Elder County schools and graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelors degree in Sociology and a Masters degree in Social Work. She worked many years for the State of Utah. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church and served in many callings including a mission in South Carolina. She is survived by her children, Dixie Burningham, Deanna (Michael) Mayne, Dru (Jo) Rudd, and Robert Rudd; a sister, Jeanette (Max) Rose; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, step-father, and three children, Larry, Stephen, and Janene. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main Street. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the mortuary. Interment-Brigham City Cemetery. Published in the Salt Lake Tribune from September 29 to September 30, 2013.
