Maw died Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998, in Battle Ground. She was 82. Mrs. Maw, born June 23, 1915, in Neligh, Neb., had lived in Clark County since 1939. She graduated from Neligh High School in 1932 and attended Wayne State University in Wayne, Neb. She loved the Blazers and the Mariners and was a Cub Scout leader and den mother as well as a Girl Scout leader. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Hazel Dell. A grandson, Michael Maw, died in 1992. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Forest M., at home; two sons, Donald L. of Lacey and Richard M. of Vancouver; one daughter, Judy E. Johnson of Vancouver; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.A graveside service will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The casket will be open for viewing from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel.
